is it okay to feed cooked eggs to the chickens if they are scrambled or sunny side up? i just found a bunch of cracked eggs behind the nest box and didnt want to waste em......so i figured id give em to the girls but i just wanted to make sure that it wouldnt make em sick or start eating their eggs outa the shell

well..i think it depends how long the eggs have been sitting there..they may be bad already...espically being cracked and all..i personally would not risk it...

ok doke, so i guess i wont

maybe ill just eat em lol

but what if it wasnt cracked and was not bad, would it be okay to give That to em?

I feed my chicken scrambled eggs. They like them alot. I think it should be fine to feed them eggs but I wouldnt feed them the ones you found. I would not risk getting them sick. I have fed my chickens eggs for a while and they do not eat their eggs unless there cooked. LOL

Generally speaking, it is ok to feed your chickens cooked eggs (mine love 'em scrambled, hard-cooked, fried, whatever) -- but you don't want to be feeding them anything contaminated.
