Ascites

After reading and searching, sour crop might be a better fit. The affected area is where the crop is, and she is expelling bits of liquid now and again. She's definitely perked up from eating. She does NOT look like the ascites photos of the distended lower abdomen.

Well this could be a good sign depending on which stage she is in! Ascites isn’t curable, but I think if you catch sour crop early enough it is?

I will certainly keep you posted! I'm starting the monistat tomorrow. She certainly is feeling better. She ate a little (I think she had become very weak in the henhouse) and definitely perked up. We brought her favorite friend inside, and they're sleeping in a warm room at the moment
