Aseel Rooster and Turkey

Hi everyone, i just got a an aseel rooster which are known to be crazy territorial. I was hoping a quick face off would decide the pecking order but the turkey seems adamant to not lose. Their fight went on for three minutes before i put an end to it by grabbing the turkey. Right now the rooster is in a 4x4 cage but I would like to see it in the open as well. Any ideas to when I should step in or how to boil this over quickly will be appreciated . Thanks!! And as always, have a great day.

I would pen someone and make certain no fighting through wire. We had similar issue with American Games fighting domestic and wild turkeys. The chickens did not fair well.

I would not keep chickens with turkeys. Once a turkey decides it doesn't like another bird it will never give up. Turkey fights can go on for days, and even weeks.

Even though it has one eye and is 4 years old, this rooster still manages to hold its own. But yeah i cage one of them every other day so they can both enjoy foraging.

He will loose, Aseel or otherwise. I am familiar with Aseel and they are not invincible.
