Hi Al hope you and your girls are good, is it ok to put cooled BBQ ash in my run. Thanks in advance. Have a great day.

Hi!

Yes, some do use grill coals, but I'd make sure they were very well burnt so any fuel put on them to burn was for sure burnt off, and sift through that first to remove any burnt food or anything else foreign first. I'd try to stir it into their dust bath areas. It's good for killing mites and lice they may have picked up.

We dump our wood stove ash around the various dust bath areas and a little in the garden too.

Depends on what was burned for fuel.
Untreated wood, sure.
Charcoal briquettes that might have/had an accelerate in it,
probably not a good idea.
