Asian Black

I purchased 4 Asian Black chicks on a whim Saturday (2-26) & cannot find hardly any information on them. What’s everyone know about them?

Mine are already bigger than my chicks that hatched 2-21. I know that they grow pretty fast but not as fast as Cornish X but that’s about it.

What age do they start laying? What color eggs? Does any one have photos of the eggs? Broodiness? Anything?

The yellow chick is a standard size mix hatched 2-21 the black is an Asian Black purchased as a day old 2-26

I had 6 about a year ago I couldn't find alot of info on them the ones I had weren't nice one cornered one of my ee s and drew blood she wouldn't let me near her for a while I'm not saying all asian Black s are mean

My gal started laying early on. Maybe 4 or 5 months? She lays either a tan or a tan with a purplish bloom (I have three hens in thar group and 2 lay tan and 1 lays the purplish bloom. Not sure exactly who does what though)

This is my AB compared to my BR when they were about 2 weeks old. She definitely grew faster than the others. Mine lays a light tan (sometimes it almost looks white) egg (and it has on occasional a pinkish/purple tint-her eggs are most varied but basically light brown).
