Ok I made it Salmon Avocado salad? The bottle in the back is a spray bottle for oil. It has olive oil in it out of focus... But it has the juice of the whole lemon Two sprays of olive oil Salt pepper and Smoked paprika. I do all my cooking from a seated position so picture taking doesnt work too well. I am somewhat disabled I cant stand for too long.... As I am eating it Its very good by the way. But as I am eating it I am thinking a Meyer Lemon would be perfect .... Hard to get in the grocery store. deb
It seems very good! Meyer lemon? I would add some spicy chili
It woudl be good with some Chipolte notes to it... Or just red pepper flakes... I dont do hot well these days though I love the flavors. Meyer Lemon is a lemon that has An orange aroma its almost sweet but still a lemon. Cand tuna is wonderful in my opinion,and belive me I know what is good food, you should make this Tunisian sandwich:
1 fresh crispy Baguette , spread som fiflchuma my Libyan hot chili past, put on it a good cand tuna, (only in oil!) Nice finely chopped Arabic salad, build egg on top, and some slice of preserved lemon and some EV olive oil on top! And then you tell me that you don't like cand tuna.

That looks Yummy... Unfortunately here in the US the canned tuna is nothing like what you can get in Europe.... I Know there is a difference. But here you have to go to Gourmet shops or order online for what you can get off the shelf....

I belive here there are four major brands, Bumble bee, Star kissed, Van Camp, and Chicken of the sea. These are factory produced procuct on Immense production lines. San Diego used to be one of the Tuna Fleet ports. There were canneries here since 1920s the last one closed in 1986. My dad actually automated part of their production line in the late Seventies. I got to be part of his design team.

Its funny when i was younger  in my twenties up to my forties I could handle Jalepenos right out of the can.   Serrano chiles added to soups or stews...  Thai food I was good up to level five....   But as I got older It started effecting me as if I were allergic to it.  I can still handle Horse radish and Wasabi  that heat goes away.  But anything with Chile Oils in it my throat starts closing up.    

Like I said I love the taste just not the heat.  Sigh.  I am going to be 61 in June, I dont expect it to go away.

I will always taste it  hoping.... LOL

I don't eat peppers any more... Health issues... In fact I don't eat s lot of good food any more... But it made me creative for what I can eat.

I too have health issues besides being Obese but hopefully they will resolve once I get back to a human size again. So far I have lost 40 pounds working with Weight Watchers. Nice part about WW is they work on all the other things too that go along with being over weight. Along with the act of recreating those foods we like sooo much without them becoming tasteless. And there is nothing you are not allowed to eat so you never feel deprived.

I am in the process of loosing 220 pounds....  So I have to be creative to make food interesting.  I tend to eat one thing a lot because I like it then I cant face it again for a very long time.

Nice!!! I have health issues... Couldn't eat for a long time was sickly skinny and now have gained weight through Paxil and prednisone... Not the way I wanted too and it makes your face swell but I have started to appreciate food again and life for that matter.
