I am a font of (often useless) information.
Sigh, me too. Absolutely useless trivia. In high school I once decided to read the Encyclopedia Americana. Learned a lot of absolutely fascinating stuff about aardvarks! 🤣 Did not get much farther than that.

Tom Scott calls facts that fill up your head when you don't need them to "brain cholesterol".

But, but, but ... someday you might need to know that aardvarks have identical quadruple pups! And they can get leprosy! And that's why they make perfect subjects for scientific studies on .... wait. Wait. Back up the bus. I might be thinking of ... armadilloes. Uh-oh. Oh, no! I'm not a knower of stuff! :thThe "stuff" has been mis-filed! Disaster!

Did you make sure your toe wasn't under the bus?

OK fine. In that case, I now have a random nerd question:

How does AMD's Bulldozer architecture do cores?
Generic hyperthread multiplier. 1 Pcore = 2 HT cores. So for example, my FX-8120 was 4 physical on the die, but 8 cores hyperthreaded. Same with most of the Processors up to intel's most recent where they're doing splitting of cores by workload type (P/E split). Not sure how those hyperthread. Pretty sure even zen5 is still 2v:1p though.
