Beautiful! Do you have bamboo rolling mats? (I don't eat sushi but my GC does.)

Can somebody please tell me how to cook rice?!? I seem to be cursed, I'm not happy with it even in my Instant Pot or either of my rice cookers. It comes out okay if I cook it in the oven but it dries out quickly. I'm at under 1,000 feet elevation.

Are you soaking it before you cook? I usually rinse, soak for 30 min, then just toss it in the rice cooker and let it do it's thing.

Also make sure your ratios are right. They aren't all 1:1 water and rice

No I never soaked it, never had a recipe say to do that. I tinse it clear though. And I usually do 2:1 water to rice I think. Plus a little salt and sometimes a little butter. I'll try the soak tomorrow. Thanks!
