I have a 14 as well. If you go to Settings > Apps > Phone, then scroll down and enable "Live Voicemail", it should transcribe it for you. I haven't had to log in to retrieve voicemails for a very long time.

Might not work with your carrier, but it's worth a shot!

Calling the carrier might work too, though you'll be dealing with a person on the other end.

We have a sand cherry in the front yard that had a crazy amount of shoots around the base. Hubby cut them all back in the Winter, and now they are coming up in an even wider range around the tree. What's the most effective way to keep the shoot growth at bay?

AFAIK there's not really an effective way to control them unless you moat them in. (dig a trench around them and line it with metal or concrete so the runners can't spread. Otherwise you have to just keep the shoots pruned when they pop so they can't grow. Sand cherry is as bad as chokecherry.
