Do all peacocks at any age get called peafowl? When the neighbors three come here (1/4 mile as the crow flies), they ask about their peacocks. I never heard of peafowl until BYC.

Peacock = male
Peahen = female
Peafowl = male or female

I think people around here, and those I've been around, just call them all peacocks. I'm enamored by them when they visit, whatever they are!
