It can be difficult to get exactly what you're looking for. There's a lot of do-gooders that just want to help or offer support, but sometimes its just not enough. But at the same time sometimes they are extremely helpful while you wait for someone with a considerable amount of knowledge in the area you're searching.
Also you could try to pinpoint which members may know what you need and try to message them directly.
I sent a message to Nifty some time ago for consideration of " experts " in different aspects...this is to be discussed at a future time..it will be something that may lead to help for an individual with a specific problem...Is there a place where we can see a list of BYC Educators? That would be grand. Esp. if the Educator listed their main area of expertise next to their names. When I have a serious question, I search round and ask several Educators and wait to see what consensus their varied replies yield. It would be much easier if their names were all in one place.
Best,
Karen
You are very correct. I have learned quite a bit from participation and just simply following threads I don't know anything about. I don't personally mind inexperienced people helping. Sometimes it's nice to know someone is there rooting for you in a way. And I like to return that favor so I'm just as guilty in that aspect of trying to help even if I'm not technically an expert. You never know where you can pick up something new.Again, if you post your question in the area most suited to your question, those experienced people who are known there will come along.
Also, we encourage all people to assist if they can. No one learns unless they participate. An no one participates if they are made to feel unwelcome.
As far as I know there is not a list of who has what badges.
