I looked into them for a bit but must of got distracted or something because I didn't purchase any.Did you end up finding some good winter boots?
Ever had a chick named after you before? Well now you have! Meet Moony!

You may remember helping me figure out some genetics last winter. I sent you a photo of Moony's mother, Sidney. Her father is an Easter Egger, mom was a very expensive BCM. Well, Moony is her baby, sex unknown. I don't normally cuddle chicks after hatch, but this one is special because his grandfather was one of the best roosters I ever had and his mom, Sidney, is also very special to me.

Moony's dad is either a Speckled Sussex or a Welsummer. My money's on the Welsummer, he's a go getter!![]()
Here's hoping you have a great hatch with more Moonies to come!a chick named Moony. That's something the world needs more of.
I don't remember the exact conversation (I have those maybe not often but enough to lose track) I remember you though. It's been a while.
He sounds like he's already kind of a big deal. That's awesome. Congrats. I just started collecting eggs myself so hatching shouldn't be to far off.
Mmmmiiiilll......What is your no1 favorite color/pattern?
I have a Lavender Orpington hen named Moony! I named her before I realized the joke here, but you can claim it.Only 3 or 4 that's publicly admitted to it but I suspect the real number is much much higher.
The low number is disappointing but it's not from lack of trying.
