asking for trouble?

In addition to my birthday goose pair and duck pair, my mom got me a guinea pair that is due in June. I've got an existing flock of chickens. Will just two guineas be asking for trouble? Thanks.

There's a possibility that they will be content with the rest of your poultry as "their flock", but chances are that they would be happier with more of their own kind (since Guineas are a flock oriented free ranging bird, by nature). Many with small numbers of Guineas kept with or around other poultry seem to have a lot of excessive aggression issues, from the males especially. I only raise Guineas (well... plus a Wild Turkey that THINKS it's a submissive Guinea, so he doesn't really equate to much influence), I have 3 good sized, but separate flocks... so my input comes from the perspective that Guineas do better in larger numbers. All you can do is try it and if it works, great, if not you always have the options to rehome them, house then separately, try adding to their numbers etc...
