Aspen shavings for nesting box?

Any thoughts/experience using aspen as an alternative to pine for nesting box bedding?

I use aspen shavings in the nest boxes. Works great so far but my girls have only started to lay since Wed 7/27. I am using sand on the coop floor to help keep it cooler here and they are not even kicking the bedding out of the boxes. Also no cracked eggs so far.

Great, thanks for the input. I got access to a large lot of aspen, so I think I'll definitely go ahead with that.
