Hello, hope everyone is doing wonderful!!
Can someone maybe help me with a dose of medicine.
I have a 1 pound 12 ounces cochin bantam that aspirated water. She did stop breathing, but somehow I got her back. I seen that she should have some antibiotics for any pneumonia that could flare up. She aspirated 3 days ago and she has been so tired and sleeping alot and no energy. I have been spoon feeding her soft foods and electrolytes. I have some amoxicillin/clavunate (misspelled) 875 mg/125mg. Can someone help me with dose i can give her please I don't have a vet within 200 miles that will see a chicken.
Or should I wait and order something off the internet, and if so does anyone have any suggestions. Thank you all so much.

The amoxicillin is usually 57 mg per pound of weight given 2 times a day for 7-10 days. The tablets have 875 mg per tablet. I might just watch her and continue to provide supportive care since it has been 3 days since the aspiration.
