Thank you so much for the for the support and suggestions. I did go ahead and remove the baby from the shell a few minutes ago. I realized in retrospect that it was a bit early but it's doing well!

What would you do differently next time?

Those are two truly amazing assists!!! I’m curious about the cord that was cut... Were you able to verify that the yolk sac and intestines were not in that cord? It and the sac left behind look so meaty!!! Also, at what stage of development or day of incubation would you open up the eggs like this?
