I posted last night with one of my 6 new chicks from Buchheits. They were bought from the assorted bantam bin. If ya'll could help me with breed and sex, I would be thrilled!! I am pretty sure that chick #1 is a roo!

I'm not too good with bantam breeds - but I'll try to help

#1 - ROO. Don't know about breed. The color is blue something, not sure what with that crazy fuzz color.
#2 - Roo. Not sure on color or breed.
#3 - Pullet. I'm thinking sebright.
#4 - Pullet. May be a dutch or OEG, not sure. Not sure on color - maybe quail?
#5 - Pullet. Maybe a white cochin? Can't tell at this age.
#6 - ROO. I was thinking D'Uccle, but he has no muffs... so I'm guessing Cochin as well. Color is lavender.

Thanks!! I don't know much about breeds so I'm clueless.. until they grow up and I have something easier to compare... last year all I got from the bin was silkies and cochins... but I was only picking feather legged ones... I want to get a few more, but they seem to never have any! I guess I will have to ask them to hold me some...
