Asthmatic duck?

I have two ducks, the male is incredibly healthy. The female came down with a respiratory problem last spring, probably induced by the stress of relocating her to a new area. I gave her herbs and supplements, she got better, but she still wheezes constantly. It's been nine months. She gets around fine, but sounds unhealthy. The boy never had a sick day. Would she be contagious to other ducks? Is there something I can do?
