at a loss for words

Treating with Corid will not cause coccidiosis, nor anything else. It is Amprolium which is a thiamin blocker. It creates an environment which is not suitable for coccidia to overgrow and kill the bird. With treatment cocci remain but at low or normal levels thereby allowing the bird to develope immunity.
thank u so much for the information.. what is the ratio for corid to water..im new to the whole chicken world so any help is much appriciated..

There is liquid and powdered Corid, I use the powdered because that's what I can get locally. The dose for that is 1/2 teaspoon per gallon of water for 5 to 7 days. You need to make it up fresh each day.
