Hello!
When you say do a treatment for lice what do you mean? I have DE all over the coop and in the sand box that they dust bath in. Is that enough or do I need to do more.
Also, the hen with the worst butt (the one pictured) is also loosing a lot of feathers. Is that normal?
To make matters worse, something got into our coop last Sunday and ate one of the chickens. I know this often leads to a drop in egg production due to stress but does it also result in a loss in feathers.
I am cleaning the coop tomorrow and hoping to find some solution. The hen just seems so uncomfortable.
