At how many weeks old can I process my Khaki Campbell Drakes?

How old do my Khaki Campbell Drakes need to be in order to be fully ready to be processed for meat? They are 12 weeks old now.

If I remember right, 12 weeks is good. Can be as early as 8 weeks. Khaki Campbell are not large ducks so don’t expect much meat. They are still delicious, just don’t follow a standard recipe for cooking them. I did the first time and had rubber duck meat.

If you're plucking, you'll want to wait until they're molting. If you're skinning, 12 weeks is probably just fine
