At last - an egg!

I guess all my complaining on this message board worked! My SLW finally laid her first egg yesterday at 31 weeks old. Penguin, you don't have to be trained as a guard dog now!

Congrats! My SLW is still working, but she is only 23 weeks. I guess I will quit breathing down her neck if yours didn't lay until 31 weeks! Maybe she is waiting for Valentines Day... Ha!

My Blue Wyandotte is 36 weeks old and NO egg laying yet.

All her other flockmates, born the same time, began laying in September & October '09. I think she wants to be a record-breaker.
