What I do is every once in awhile I will mix some scratch with the Chicken feed as well as with the turkey Feed I might divide a bag of scratch with 4 to 6 bags of feed.
I do this more so during the cooler months the scratch warms them up because of the body takes more to digest the scratch.
As treats you might call it I give all scraps that are not fed to the dogs to the fowl and they love it bread is like crack to chickens and Turkeys they cant get enough.
Raw potatoes should not be given to Chickens as well as Turkeys it can make them sick cooked yes raw no.
Its only me but other than feed I would wait till 10 to 15 weeks of age to feed scraps just in case but that's me being careful.
