I have ten 28wk old hens and another group that is 14 1/2 weeks old. Of the 14wk olds I have 9 pullets and one rooster.
My older girls are laying and I do see some fertile eggs, but.... I’ve had a couple guinea cocks fly into their fenced yard about a month ago🤦‍♀️ I’m not sure how long they were in there so I’m sure some hanky panky went down. I had an escaped hen back during the summer laying fertile eggs when she’d hang out with the guinea flock.
That now has me wondering when I’ll see fertile eggs that will be from my rooster and not from the guineas. I’m also wondering when he’ll start crowing. So far he has been silent.
A couple pictures of my boy.

They can...the chicks don't always develop though.

One of my cockerels has just begun showing interest at 18 weeks...the dominant cockerel has not yet, but I'm keeping an eye out.

So any day now? Haha
I know he has time. I won’t try for hatching eggs till March-April.

I don't think a guinea can inseminate a chicken?
Pretty crazy, but they can and do. Like @DobieLover posted. I even found a website of different guinea hybrids.
Chicken x guinea, pea x guinea, and turkey x guineas!
just crazy.
