I don't know who they are, except from commercials. I know the product they marketed, again from ads. But for the life of me I can't figure out why my back should hurt. (It doesn't.)

I think it means that if you're old enough to remember that ad, you probably have some aches and pains, and that means back aches for a lot of people.

When I saw that, my back was having one of its twinge!-twinge! phases. It made me laugh.
