At what age (months?) do silkie pullets begin to lay eggs?

I have a 6 month old silkie pullet. (at least I think its a pullet). And I was wondering when they start to lay eggs?

Been awhile since I had silkies, but mine start between 6-7 months. Beautiful silkie!
