At what age should I expect my frizzle hen to lay?

She was born July 31st and is a great pet. When should she start laying? Oh and do Frizzles go broody often? I would like to mate her with my friends Silkie rooster and let her raise a clutch of babies.

They are fairly late laying hens, though you can expect to see the first egg when she's 5-6 months old and they tend to go broody quite often.
