Hi, My ducks are 18 weeks old, I have 3 females & 1 male. I'm wondering when they will start laying eggs??? I'm planning on gathering the eggs ( if I can find them ) cuz i'm not ready to have a bunch of babies running around!!!!! They free range during the day & are penned at night so i'm hoping they will lay eggs in the pen so I can find them.

Thanks, I was told they can start laying between 18-25 weeks old, I thought that sounded to young. i'm not ready for them to start laying, I still look at them as my " babies ", they are growing up to fast!!!!!

I know what you mean! When my ducks started mating I was horrified. Babies can’t mate!!!
