I have a two chicks and I'm really sure that one is a rooster, they will be 6 weeks old tomorrow and he seems to be pushing the other chick around a bit more than before.
I was just curious about when he will start mating.

I believe part of it depends on the breed. I have a Mottled Houdan roo who started crowing at 8 weeks. He's showing signs of trying to get fresh with the ladies at 13 weeks old, but they aren't having any part of it. My other roos, same age, aren't crowing or showing any signs of being interested in the ladies yet. Not sure about anyone else, but I've never had a roo be interested in a pullet that way at 6 weeks old. Could be they are just getting the "pecking order" down.

yeah I think he's just saying who's boss, he has been trying to push around some of my full grown hens. And its worked even though he is about 1/3 their size, well except for one hen, she knows for sure that she is bigger than him
