I leave my in the turner till they start piping the only reason I take them out then is to keep them seperate so I will know what pen they are out of. It is not important to stop turning the eggs when a hen set on eggs they are turn till the day they hatch. They start hatching here at day 26.

My humidity run around 50% all the time some say up it because that what they heard but I don't. I have a friend that hatch over 700 peachicks last year and he never put water in the incubator during the day it would run around 20% and at night aroung 30% humidity if you get to much humidity it will drown the chicks.

thing about lock down, eggs don't need turn the last 3 day, doesn't hurt if they are, lock down is more to not open incucbators. I move eggs to hatcher trays last 3 days, no mixed up on chicks either as eggs are in seperate trays by pens.

I'm going to lockdown on day 25...I'll move them to my hatcher in the house.

Today is day 22 for my pea eggs...I live in the SE Panhandle...when should I stop turning them?
