Ok, so with being out in the middle of no mans land... we dont access to DSL or cable internet so we opted to get a Verizon Wireless PC card (WANN card). Well, after 11 months of being WAY under my 5 gig allotment... this last month is said I used 14 gig!!! LIKE what?!?!?

So, I called the customer service and like always they were NO HELP at all

So this morning after getting my stuff done for my new job, I stopped over to the corprate store. Walked in and this really nice gentleman asked my if he could help me.. I explained the problem I was having and he was great and very understanding. He too called Customer Service who get him (their own employee) problems.. at this point I am so angry

I was spittin flames!!! The store employee who btw is a nice fella and completely agreeing with me on the "How could the NOT know" idea handed me the phone.

First of all... handing the phone to an obvious irrate woman is not a good idea let alone with a inconsiderate CS worker on the other end... But, he did... anywho.....

After 2 hours of me screaming and yelling and I am almost ashamed to admit it.. my vocab could have made a sailor cry... they did as I asked.. refunded all overage charges for this month and next month... Ahhhhh

As I looked around the store... everyone was like

In the end.. I got my refund and I made my point.. all be it in the most obnoxious was I could LOL

good to go again!

Thanks for letting me rant..

I would like to have one of those cards, but I have my computer on and linked 24 hours. I see no way I can afford it.

we have one 70.00 a month. before all the hidden charges my wife hides from me.

It is cool we were driving to niagra falls and could access it while on the highway.

I have the AT&T wireless aircard. I've had it for 11 months and it has been on 24/7 ever since I got it. All it costs is one flat rate, no matter how long its on. Verizon told me when I went to talk to them that theirs wasn't like that, so I am sticking with AT&T. And NOW that I have bought the card AND a laptop, they come out with the stupid little "mini 10" computer that has the GSM BUILT IN. AND IT ONLY COSTS $199!!!!!!!!!! I swear, a day late and a dolloar short is the story of my life LOL!

Where I am having an air card wouldn't work, there's no place anywhere near, and the cell phone towers are too far away to be able to get a good signal. So we bit the bullet and got Hughesnet satellite internet. It's high speed, on 24/7 and I haven't come anywhere near close to the download limit. They do give a free time for downloads between 2 and 7 am every day. I really like it, and except for a small problem caused by a faulty part, have had no trouble with it, even in bad weather. Paid an install fee, and an activation fee, monthly fee is $71 incl taxes, etc. And, the good part is that when we head back to the city in the fall, I call them and have them shut it off for the winter as a seasonal contract. Of course, we had to sign a 2 yr contract, which is reflected in the seasonal monthly thing, but that's fine, because there's no other way to get internet in this area.
