I’m not sure but worried my ducklings (3 weeks) might have eaten tin foil?! I found 2 pieces all chewed up in a ball, found piece of foil on floor with piece missing. However, I don’t know if they ingested any or if pieces i found were it, very chewed so i couldn’t tell original size. Is there anything I can give them to help them pass it? High fiber food? We had a puppy grab an ornament off tree and eat the hook and vet said to give high fiber food to see if he’d pass it and he did! So thought maybe I could try for the ducks, but new to ducks so not sure what to give them. Any help would be great! Sorry for long post and thanks!

Aluminum foil isn't toxic and is so thin that there is little danger of it perforating any tissue as it moves through the digestive system.

To be sure it does move through and is eliminated, you can administer a molasses flush. Use about a teaspoon in a cup of warm water and offer as the sole water source for the day.

Hello, lots of times Ducks play with things but never swallow anything..They love playing with stuff..Like Puppies do.
Mine carry beer caps and rocks to the kiddie pool..Margarine on peas helps get things moving...:frow
That’s very helpful! Thank you, hopefully they were just playing with it!
