my best friend has a peking duck (yes were like Friends duck and a chick) when we are all over and the duck is "chillin" with us she will stand still, shake her head and CHARGE... once she gets to you she stops and just kinda bobs her head around almost like shes smelling you... is this normal?!??!

My Indian Runner drake does that too. At first I thought he was being aggressive, but now I think he's just an attention hog. He follows me all around the yard and won't let me out of his sight, but he only likes to fight people through the fence where he knows he can't get in trouble! I'm convinced he's just playing. My dad likes to fight him back just for fun.

I think that is duck for "Hey Baby! Hey Baby!" Mating behavior. My ducks do it all the time. Mostly the females to the males. My ganders look so confused when the ducks flirt with them. lol
