I was considering getting a rooster so I could incubate eggs and keep my flock going as my girls age. But I didn't because my neighbors on both sides have small children. I didn't want to take that chance. I could deal with a problem rooster personally if necessary but I would never expect my neighbors to have to deal with it. That's rude and not very neighborly. I agree with other posts that if he comes on your property then he's fair game and you may want to send him to freezer camp.
