I have a hen that has just started attacking two of my other hens They have feathers missing and small cuts on there back where she attacks them What is the problem and what can be done They are about a year or s old

More information would be helpful. How big in feet by feet is the coop? And the run? Do they free range? What are you feeding them? How are you feeding them? Have you tried separating her? Do you have room to do so?

Coop is 4x6 run is total10x20 I feed them corn and wheat scratch feed and laying crumbles in feeder Have not tried separation yet Just started about a week ago and it is the smallest hen doing the attacking

It's possible they need a higher protein feed. Corn and scratch feed don't have the nutrients they need. A higher protein all flock grower may be helpful. If she keeps it up, can you separate her for a week or so? Sometimes that resets their place in the pecking order and settles them down.
