Hey all, What is that song about , Oh What a Night???? Well let me tell you it has been one of those nights, One tornado warning after the other, soon as one expired they would issue another. We were lucky in my neck of the woods, the tornadoes went all around us, the worse we got is flooding, some downed trees, the tornado action and the straight line winds stayed pretty much east of me, my boyfriend is a county officer and I rode with him checking for storm damage, couldn't use my computer what else was I to do. I have been up since 6:00 yesterday morning, my mom is in the hospital in Joplin, they had to move the patients into the hallway once or twice but the tornadoes bypassed Joplin as well that is where she is.

Bluehenlover, Thanks for thinking of me and glad to hear all is well with you as well. I think the last of the storms rolled through about 4:00 am, at least I hope, not sure if we will have school tomorrow alot of trees down on the county roads and the flooding is unbelievable, when the lightning would flash all you could see was fields of water, can't wait to see it after daylight. I guess at this point I will just stay up for awhile longer, want to be in Joplin in time to see my mom's dr when he does rounds. So anyway I am tired and rambling guess I will shut up now.

Wow, im glad all of you escaped any major damage.
We dont get tornadoes over here.
I hope you all have an emergency plan set in place with a safe spot for you and your animals for when the storms go through.
Ive seen them on tv and they look awesome but totally scary.
Im a stormachaser with my camera when i havent lent it out.
I love watching lightning strikes in the night skies.

We got hit by a tornado at 2:45 am- the house is intact, but myprivacy fence is gone and the carport is in the middle of the field in a crumpled mess. Theres much more , but Ive gotta go to bed- Ive been up all night. - I'll post more later. :0
