attention coastal mainers anyone intrested in a chicken swap

looking to get one started in the coastal maine area. say wisscaset. to augusta area or any town in between. let me know if your intrested. i know theres one in oxford next week but too far for me.

I'd be interested in one in the central/southern Maine area- anywhere from Augusta/Waterville to York. Oxford is a ways out there..

oxford is 2hrs 4 min for me i live in warren down by rockland. its a long ride for me, augusta only 45 mins.

mcsammie said anywhere from York to Waterville would be better than Oxford.

I wasn't trying to discourage a swap in Augusta or anywhere else, just hoping people who thought Oxford was a long ways, while York and Waterville were not, might check it to be sure they know just how far Oxford is before dismissing it as "way out there".

I guess it just depends where you live.

I have the issue of bring chickens AND my handicapped son.

So closer is always easier for me.

I do have a large number of cochin bantam young ones that I want to sell right now...but I guess Skowhegan Livestock Auction will be my selling place

But I do hope for a closer Chickenstock at some point!!!
