Attention,cost and breeding chancez

If I were to get 2-6 quails either all females or breeder set how much time and attention would they require each day and how much would it cost me to keep them feed and comfortable?also what are the odds of quail breeding with one or more and quail around?

You're going to need a predator proof pen or cage, and they'll need feed, water, and cleaning just like you would with any animal. Cost depends on where you are. The odds of coturnix quail breeding and creating more are very slim. You'll want an incubator.

I'm in california and I'm thinking 5 quails so how much per month for food and other cost?

A 50 lb bag of game bird feed is about $20. That should last 5 quail about 2 months. Other costs depend on how you plan to house them, what kinds of feeders, waterers, etc. that you plan to use.

Are you planning on keeping them on the ground in pens? An aviary? Rabbit hutch style? Are you going to build your habitat? Are you going to buy something?

What are you planning to keep quail for?

Are you going to hatch eggs, in which case you'll need an incubator. Once you have the answers to those questions, you'll have a better idea of starting costs.
