ATTN: Anyone with OHIO Broiler Knowledge!!!

Ok, So I have been looking all over the USDA for Ohio regulations on Broiler production and/or processing. I want to know how many I am legally allowed to process Or do I have to sell all live and make processing optional????? Also, any regulations on processing equipment?

Call your Extension Office. They probably get asked that question every week and probably already have a pamphlet ready to go for you. Good luck!

Let everyone know what you learn. In my State (Washington) USDA is not involved in poultry at our scale.

I'm interested to know what you find out. I can't find the link to the site I checked out a while ago, but I thought there were no restrictions unless you sold a certain amount. But I can't be sure.

I emailed the Ohio Dept. of Ag about this two weeks ago, asking them to send me the regs (like it says to do on their website). No reply. I guess I'll have to call them.
