Could you share your opinions of my BLR cockeral and pullet? Would you consider them good/decent/ or poor breeding quality?

I can't comment on the quality, but I think they are very pretty..........Just ordered some from Murray McMurray who will be here this week. Where did you get your chicks? I am just in love with them.

We also ordered gold laced.

I know nothing about them either, but the female looks like she may be splash instead of blue. The feathers look white instead of a blue color.

Ok breeders chime in here........ can you get splash when breeding two blrw together????

Even if she is a splash you should end up with 50% blr from breeding her with a blr, the same percentage that you would get if you bred blr x blr

Yes, I believe she is splash.​

My hubby has been researching, you can get splash, black and blue chicks. To get blue's, you have to breed a splash to a black to get all blues. Any other combination will produce all three if we understand correctly.
