Auction chicks dying, mom ok

Yeah... I thought of that too but dismissed it because they've seemed perfectly healthy until 2 days ago.
I feel like if they had started dropping from the start it could be blamed on the seller but to be had these babies for nearly 2 weeks now and they're pretty well grown by chick standards.
Dang it :(
Watch them poop.
I know that sounds silly but it it highly likely they have picked up a new-to-them strain of coccidia from your property.

Are you familiar with what coccidiosis is?

They are likely suffering from coccidiosis as they are being exposed to the new strains on your property.
I would begin Corid water treatment immediately, mom included.
The dosage for liquid Corid is 2 tsp per gallon and for powdered it's 1 1/2 tsp per gallon for 5-7 days. The Corid water must be the only source of drinking water available. Provide a fresh solution daily. After they've finished 5-7 days at this concentration, continue for another week at half that concentration.
I should have kept reading...sorry.
I am quick to post without finishing reading a thread.

This!

Update, the second chick died with a very full crop too. I cut into it and found a ton of undigested whole wheat, terrible smell. Evidentally they had gotten into the scratch at some point. So I'm going with impacted crop on this one.
poops are totally fine, crops feel normal on everyone else.

Do they have access to grit?
