Hey everyone...I am finally ready to offer up a batch of my split/lavender Project Orpington eggs. These eggs will be out of my split/lav quad I purchased from the Hinkles last fall. You can expect to get 25% lav/50% split/25% black chicks out of these eggs, (though the percentages can vary). So far, my lavender ratio is running a little higher than expected. My rooster, Sonny, is very large and handsome....much larger than any other rooster on my farm. There are pics of my quad, and a couple lavender chicks on my BYC Page. You can use the resulting offspring to further your own Lavender Orp project, or create other LF lavender birds. Bidding starts now, and will end Tuesday, 3/17/09 at 8pm central time.
