I had to have a talk with my girls today. They aren't paying their rent and this has got to stop. I told them if they didn't start laying eggs soon i'd have to squeeze some out of them. lol I have 2 laying. The rest are slackers. I'm not going to be able to send what I wanted besides the extra special surprise eggs. I get plenty of those. I'll get the 6 and if my talk worked maybe more. I told them to at lwast give it their best this weekend so I can pick all the same instead of a variety. I guess a variety isn't bad. My one hen that lays every day no matter what would be a good one to get some hens from. She lays the nicest huge eggs. And they always hatch.

I hope I get some nice mixes I can work with. I'm gonna have a pen with just a polish/silkie mix roo and a frizzle hen. They are teenagers right now but to get something of that mixture to add to that pen would be great. I'll be happy no matter what I get. It's all in fun anyway. Who knows. George may get a buddy to keep him company besides the chihuahua.
