First baby is out of the egg!

. It knocked all the other eggs all over the bator! Clumsy little fuzzy butt. It appears to be either blue or black, not splash. That is okay. Four more eggs have cracks! Come on out chickies!

i have 5 chicks all blue bearded silkies. one is like a chip munk color? how did that happen? 2 died in the zip and i still have one hatching or i would take pics

Here Is my Fuzzy Butt # 3 that hatched last night from egg #8
It is from RIR hen and daddy is brown leghorn cross.

Afishel: How sweet they are!

For some reason I still only have one baby. Some other eggs have good cracks just slow to progress. I am leaving the little cheerleader in there to help them wake up enough to come out of their shells!

I have three babies now. They were to be BBS SPlash but all three so far are bluish black. Regardless I love them all

I still have a couple eggs with cracks. Go chickies!
