No sure if we are going to make it today. Discovered our Fridge wasn't working late yesterday afternoon and was up late try to get another one set up and going. So pretty much have no energy left to load the truck, need to to go shopping as soon a we get the new fridge cooling to replace all the food that was lost so may pop in and drop off the evil guy and look for a bit.

I also got a MUCH wanted Blue Laced Red Wyandotte today

It was nice to see so many people at the Farm Swap.

I think we had a fantastic turnout today, lots of buyers and seller early on,quite a variety of items but I kick myself, now that I am sitting here I realize I didn't get back to the soap from painted horse. wind came up and we decided to breakdown the ez up, got carried away and packed up. over all a very good day.
I'm starting a new thread for next weeks poultry swap in augusta.

I freaking loved the farm day in Augusta today! It was awesome!!!
Thanks to hoppy I got my little sizzle (who has been trying to flirt with the chicken on the other side of the glass...her reflection!) And that of course meant it needed a friend, so we got a little silver laced Cochin bantam (I think from quailfamah??). I now vow to completely ignore the rest of the Maine swap threads before I get myself in some serious trouble!!!

But I have been thinking that I should look into an incubator before next spring....

Anyone have any EE pullets, Olive egger pullets? willing to pay up to 20$ for a quality bird. Also looking for a guinea hen around 15 weeks.
