Auracanas won't lay, but everyone else does

So I've got a mixed bag of chickens in my coop with 4 Auracana hens (and 1 roo who was supposed to be a hen...oops). Every chicken I've got hatched the same day in April, and my egg production is fantastic, except for those darned Auracanas. I have seen at most 4 or 5 green eggs since they all started laying in August, and haven't seen any in a couple of weeks. Is there something special about Auracanas that will make them lay, or not lay, that doesn't affect the rest of the flock? The others are RIR's, New Hamps, Buff Orps, Australorps, and Barred Rocks, all of whom have proved to be prolific egg layers.

Are you feeding oyster shell free choice? Is it possible that they are laying soft shell eggs? Are they free range and hiding there eggs. Have you moved the bedding in the nest box and searched for the eggs.
They girl I have laying give me about 5 eggs a week.

I don't know the answer, I'll guess that Auracanas are late bloomers. My girls hatched in April also. All of them have been laying for a month or more except for the EE. She does seem younger and shyer than the rest. Her comb turned red just a couple of weeks ago but she hasn't started couching yet. I figure it should be soon. My Plymouth Rocks lay every day without fail and they hatched the same day as the EE.

My EE's were hatched April 28th this year and we got our first green egg this past Monday the 20th. Yipeeeeee.! I just think they lay later than most breeds. That is what I'm gathering on this forum from other experiences. Patience is all that is needed (I think) Good luck.

This is what is going on in my hen house too.. Everyone except for the EE are laying. The girls have showed no sign of laying. Oh, I am sure they will in time. DJ

One of my EE's (born in mid-march) is laying, but always hides her eggs out in the yard. The other EE may or may not be laying - she went broody for a while and tried to sit on everyone else's eggs, but I've not found any that I know to be hers.

My other hens - Dels and Favs - are laying well.

i have 3or more ee's and they are noyt laying ether. i got a green egg today. i havent seen a green egg in three to four weeks all mine where hacthed in march.i dont know what is going on if it is the weather or what?
