I have 2 Australorps, were sold to me as pullets, but I now think at least 1 is a roo. Don't know their exact age, I believe they are around 12 weeks old. Thanks

I am not going to keep them if they are roo's. If anyone is interested in them and live near Lexington, AL. in Northwest AL, please let me know. Thanks

Look at their legs. If one's legs are noticeably fatter I would guess roo. I have Australorps and yours both look like pullets to me.

I don't know there exact age because the people I bought them from was not truthful. I think they are around 12 weeks old.

Both have saddle feathers. Both are roosters. See if they will trade you for hens, maybe they couldn't tell the difference either.

I have 2 BA pullets and I had 1 BA roo.My roos comb came in early and was red. at 12 weeks the comb looks like pullet but... the saddle feathers on both scream roo. also I noticed on mine the green sheen shows earlier on the males than the females. My girls are just now about 16 weeks and theirs are just now starting to show the green sheen, but the boys started at about 7-8 weeks
