It was a gorgeous day today, and a great day for the coop tour. We saw about 8 or the 17 or so coops on the tour. The kids ran out of juice, otherwise we would have seen more. It had a tremendous turnout, and I can't wait to hear what the numbers are. I overhear lots of people asking good questions, and saw all kinds of coops and set ups. Most people only had small backyard sized flocks, but a local vegetarian restaurant is working towards a laying flock of about 300 chickens. Its always fun to see other peoples ideas and management techniques. Aqnd it is always fun to talk to chicken people.
