It is still time to get your entry in for your coop to be on the tour. Deadline is 1/22/11.
This year there will be prizes for different coop categories:
Urbanist - The most sleek city design... no country cluckers here, just city chickers!
Purtyist - Aesthetics of the coop itself, and how it blends with the rest of the property.
Greenest - Most Sustainable Design - Energy efficiency and integrated permaculture.
Funkiest Chicken Coop - Speaks "Austin" in its appearance, use of materials, overall design.
People's Choice - Allows coop outside of above categories to be recognized.
There are also volunteer opportunities if you want to participate, but not have your coop on the tour.
