Spent most of my life in Austin, last known residence on Redd in S. Austin, which is where I first got chickens 18 years ago. Sounds like you're north of the river? I still get homesick, after 9 years!
Your coop looks great, but beware the horizontal box fan. They aren't really built to function at that angle. Get some extras, the motors burn out fast and really aren't too safe. Make sure you use lots of hardware cloth, the raccoons there are tenacious.
